CareMeridian’s residential brain injury rehab program in Tucson, Arizona, provides recognized rehabilitation services for those who have sustained a neurological injury as a result of trauma, stroke or other medical events. Our team offers 1:1 therapy and 24/7 care.
Through intense, active neurorehabilitation and personalized care plans, we help patients transition home. We provide a brain injury rehabilitation program that helps post-acute patients improve their quality of life and reach their rehabilitation goals, whether that means returning home, to work or to school.
Our Tucson facility has 6 private rooms and provides daily living assistance and support services to patients who have been discharged from a hospital or other more intensive rehabilitation facility, but who still face physical, psychological, and social challenges as they work toward increased independence and community integration.
Opened in 2017, our Tucson location provides an aquatic therapy pool and a full complement of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services. These services include neuropsychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, vocational counseling, mobility assistance, life skills training and community integration – performed together with our specialists in a comfortable, non-institutional setting.
All of CareMeridian’s subacute care facilities offer a diverse selection of activities for residents. This includes everything from arts and crafts to movies and special meals. At our Tucson facility, we also enjoy bringing our residents to local attractions like Tohono Chul Park, Pima Air and Space Museum, and Saguaro National Park.
We also partner with Ability 360 to offer sports and fitness activities specially designed for individuals with disabilities.
