Ann T. Vasile, M.D., joined CareMeridian’s team of Physician Experts in 2012. With nearly 25 years of medical experience, Dr. Vasile has been an associate, then partner with Rehabilitation Associates Medical Group in Long Beach, Ca., since 1993.
She fulfilled her residency at New York University’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and University of California, Irvine. Dr Vasile was chosen as Chief Resident for the University of California’s Irvine Medical Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Vasile holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and received her M.D. from Albany Medical College in Albany New York.
Dr. Vasile received Board Certification in 1994 from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in 1999 became Board-Certified in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. She also holds certifications in Electrodiagnostic Studies, Lower Limb and Spinal Orthotics, Principles Prosthetics Training and Physician Management Training.
With hospital appointments and leadership roles at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Lakewood Regional Medical Center and the St Mary’s Medical Center in Southern California, Dr. Vasile is actively involved in neurorehabilitation, spinal cord rehabilitation and rehabilitation medicine. Dr Vasile is a Paradigm Medical Director, assisting in management and outcomes for spinal cord injury patients across the nation. Additionally, she currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at UCI Medical Center and has received numerous honors, including US News and World Report Top Doctors and The Best Doctors in America.
